I further recommend spending the time to identify the fact of your business, culture and team with forward thinking needs. Interview towards the future. Let candidates know what it is really like and what you really need.
I like interviewing in conversation, but find your comfortable style and ask questions that get down to it - on top of standard resume following story building questions. I like to ask questions in a way that puts people in the shoes of others...what would your manager at company x tell me about...
