Default Re: Pay per click ads effectiveness?

First, full disclosure. I am a sales manager for a company that runs PPC campaigns for small to medium sized businesses. We also build websites, but the PPC is our main business.

PPC is very effective, but only if you know what you're doing. It also doesn't work for everyone. However, my company has about 13,000 clients who will tell you that it is effective to greater and lesser degrees.

We manage a campaign for a friend of mine who has told me they get a huge chunk of sales off of PPC ads. I can name three or four clients off the top of my head who have based their whole business off of what we do for them. Check out ekkomobiles.com. They also engage in organized SEO campaigns as well.

As I mentioned, PPC is effective, but it is most effective when combined with an effective SEO campaign. If you're not doing both, then you're not using an effective long term growth strategy.

PPC fraud is not 30% - at least, that's not been our experience.
