CEO departures jumped by 47 percent in May, according to research conducted by global outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Last month, 115 companies announced changes at the top, compared to 78 in April. Challenger, Gray & Christmas indicates it was the highest number of CEO departures since last December.
