    Recruiter activity

Are you more likely to get a response from recruiters when they are busy with positions to fill? Or when they are slower and building databases?

  2. Both. Add value to them and hit them between the eyes with your value proposition in either situation. Recruiters will ring you in when there is something there. Be sure to exercise multiple strategies in building your network.

After determining the "so what" like David says, it is time to separate yourself with a creative approach to getting recruiters attention.
These days, picking up the phone is a obvious start many do not do. A lost art. What else can you do to show your ingenuity related to your offering? Especially if you are in sale or marketing...but aren't we all?
