I saw Michael Gerber, author of e-Myth Revisited, speak for the third time in Denver in about two months. Each time he talked about why so many small businesses fail . One of his favorite analogies is to imagine building a large jigsaw puzzle without a picture on the box. How many puzzled are sold without a picture?
Gerber is talking about having the end goal in mind - a vision. How you get there (mission), is a journey full of unknowns and fear. That is okay! It is okay because your plan will change as you learn, but you have to make a move and not hold back because you have not done it before. All significant creations and change has been developed by someone who does not know what they are doing. You see mistakes and determination to pick themselves up and learn what to do different moving forward. Is not having a vision of your success a missing in your picture? What is your business vision - share it here! Do you have a personal vision to share?
