Gas Cost in Your Pricing
During my talk in a room full of business owners, we looked at environmental changes during our SWOT analysis segment. Gas prices was the overwhelming cry of change and the relationship to fees they must charge customers.
One business Owner shared he does not describe his gas bill as the result for higher fees charged. Instead, he realizes the actual cost is higher maintenance and machinery costs. He raised fees describing machinery cost cross industry.
The customer also has higher gas bills so they don't care. This business owner is experiencing business growth while others he knows are seeing a degrees in business - those businesses are using gas prices as the reason for higher fees.
How does higher gas bills change your business and as you may raise your fees, what is your reasoning to the client?
