Question for a LLC buff. I own a LLC that has no employees at the time being and four owners all of which are written into the Operational Agreement. I want to avoid hiring employees for obvious financial reasons (workmans comp etc).
LEGALLY, can I find a front desk girl for my business and give her 1% ownership of the business? I would write her into the Operational Agreement and make a seperate contract that would state her ownership can be taken back at any time. Compensation for the 1% ownership per month would be equal to what I would pay her hourly for one month. I would deduct taxes like I do from all the other owners and have my CPA file her taxes accordingly under personal income when neccessary. Is this legal? Thanks |

I think your life would be a lot easier to contract out admin though and admin or temp agency in your area. Do a search for companies in your area, tell them what you are looking for, interview a few and treat them well so they stick around.
