Google tops the list as Fortune Magazines Best Companies to Work For
Google has maintained the "dot com" mentality of work/life balance at the office. Keep 'em there, available and working hard and mix in play and dining, etc. It works. The employees are paid well and are talented. Competition will remain high as the list of talent that wants to work for a top company to work for is huge. Such a bench will motivate to stay on top of your game! The no-brainer to me is the consistent factors these companies share. Including: among the highest paid with better benefits; opportunities because of growth and retention. Companies sustaining this recognition over the years is amazing. Can Google? I love that Nixon Peabody's vision is to be the "best firm to work with and best firm to work for."
