I have a passion for following my dreams. I learned a few years ago that to be truly successful, and truly happy, I needed to work for myself.
So, after years of learning the ropes in creative agencies I decided to hit the streets as a freelance designer. Over six years later I'm proud to say that the decision has paid off. I own and operate a successful freelance design company, Epiphany Graphics, that has allowed me to express my creativity, fine-tune my client communications skills and learn the lessons of being my own boss.
I've decided to take this knowledge and start another company this year called Indie Arsenal. Indie Arsenal is the answer to a much-needed, but mostly absent, need in the freelance creative community: high-value, relevant resources for independent creative professionals. Indie Arsenal will provide online content along with offline networking and educational opportunities to help local creatives promote their work, their vision and their talent.
Indie Arsenal aims to provide the necessary resources to help creative collaborate, communicate and thrive in the local business community.
We're excited for the resources coming in 2009 and welcome everyone's feedback and advice. Also, if you or someone you know is a freelance professional, remember that membership is free and the core group of passionate creatives surrounding Indie Arsenal is growing quickly. Join today and help us grow a better creative community!
