Default Yahoo! slip; Google climbs in American Customer Satisfaction Index

Yahoo! seems keep falling customer satisfaction from what I hear and read. Google improves on the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Check out the just released Q2 2008 and Historical ACSI Scores and find your favorite industry including the Internet portal/search engine category where you will find the Google and Yahoo! data.
What do you think?

They should focus more on customer feedback, and service than their already-powerful search engine.

I am glad Yahoo is blocking Microsoft's proxy battle to buy the company. On one hand, its good that Microsoft wants to buy them; on the other hand, its a bad idea.

1. Its going to be anti-trust all over again.

2. Corporate control of existing product will render the product with less quality.

Then again.

More money from outsiders would yield more and extensive development time on the search engine itself. Google is already planning to take the search engine to the next level. He said on the "Mad Money" show. They already have strong, and I mean really strong customer base with their existing products.

I would refer to the same link in the original post. I am sure Q3 is not out yet.
