My RSS Feed is dedicated to customer service and Has Just Posted the Following:

You've probably heard that saying, "A picture paints a thousand words". Well, in the world of customer service it's the smile that paints a thousand words. Here's a great post about the art of smiling that will hopefully inspire you to be a more smiley person.

A smile starts from the inside when you're a genuinely happy person. Fake smiles just don't make the cut. I'd rather you not smile at me then to give me one of those fake smiles.

If you're at work and need an instant smile, here are a few things you can do:

1. If you have access to the internet, search for a short, funny video on YouTube
2. Keep the newspaper comics handy for a little pick-me-up during a break
3. Create a little happy dance (I knew a manager who did this often and it put a smile on everyone's face)
4. Become buddies with the comedian at work. There's always one person who knows how to make people laugh!
5. Always have a piece of chocolate handy. I don't know about you, but chocolate always puts a smile on my face
