Default Managing Your Online Brand

How do you manage all of the disparate online brands that you leave all over Internet? Are there any tools that can track and update information across all of the platforms?

Searching for yourself in search engines is one way to see what comes up, but sites like Zoominfo.com do a good job of organizing content with your name and gives you a chance to claim what is you.

Unless you are showing different identities or behaviors out there, the brand should not be too different cross the board. If it is, that is exactly what to pay attention to and address moving forward.

Also, put your name, company and any other industry data you are verifying in a Google Alert.

Default Re: Managing Your Online Brand

If you happen to think that a name isn't used as much online, especially in google/yahoo searches - USE IT! And you have a unspeakable opportunity to build a long list of "backcatalog" of pages that you've registered to...The more you're on a big site with that same name, the more Google/yahoo wants to search your site. But the trick is that you need to have a lot of connections on sites you're passionate about.

Thing is, it doesn't come quickly, you have to work at it. Its a pain in the butt, but the results are strong if you keep going and going.
