Watch out Andy Warhol…

I love the opportunity to work on something different and working with creative out of the box clients. These invitations are quite unique.* Brooke and Patrick are having a POP Art style wedding with wonderful primary colors and bursts of bright colors. Their wedding will be held at The Curtis Hotel in Denver.* The Curtis – it is such a cool POP Art place – filled with unique design, bright colors and nostalgia – not your typical hotel – it is such a cool place. If you have an opportunity visit the Curtis and be sure to stop by the 5 & Dime gift shop.

Below you will find the inspiration board for Brooke and Patrick’s wedding. Put together by their wedding planner, Kerri Butler of a Touch of Bliss. Kerri is wonderful at what she does and is highly creative.

The invitation focus was bright colors to match their palette and modern, clean shapes. The invitation card features an illustration of the couple die cut into the shape of a circle and printed on a lemon drop stock. The extra cards are square in shape printed on the jelly bean green and razzle berry stocks. The reply postcard is fun playing off the “Be There or Be Square” concept. All of the papers are actually a Pop art line called “POP Tone” produced by the French Paper Company. One of the last family owned paper companies and completely “green”.
These invitations are such a fun concept and I can only hope for another POP Art wedding or event. A very modern, POP chic idea…
