Thread: Wedding Invitations in a Box

  1. Wedding Invitations in a Box

My wife Julie creates amazing products for weddings and other family social events daily during the peak wedding season.

We are seeing more couples make event packed wedding weekends that are fun for traveling friends and family. The extra communications open minds for cool invitations. Invitations delivered in a box is a trend we see more of. Here are pictures of an invitation Julie recently completed for a client:

People still talk about our own wedding invitations which were delivered in a box seven years ago. I remember having to keep one open at the post office in La Jolla, CA while I was hand stamping the invitations. Strangers had to see the paper, flower pedals and raffia (that was when I learned what raffia is ) The impact of invitations delivered in a box is remarkable and a trend we see getting bigger.

The wedding industry business is huge! These products are remarkable.
Are you seeing higher end products and less guests as a trend?

  3. Re: Wedding Invitations in a Box

Thanks and yes. Why? Julie's typical customer is getting married older, both educated and working. Result: not inviting all high school friends as time goes on and a budget to do something everyone remembers. That feels good and we love to be a part of it.

Funny announcement since I posted these pictures two weeks ago. This is an example of a recent invitation that has not been added to JS Design website or anywhere but here. We are already getting inquiries about this product because of this forum. - Note to all small business owners without even a little online presence: you do nice work? Get it online!!!

How much do invitations like these usually cost...if I may ask?

  5. Re: Wedding Invitations in a Box

You may ask. Unfortunately the answer depends on a lot of custom detail factors including quantity. This one includes jewels and detail that are stunning so might run around $125 - $200 per piece. Many things can be done to bring this cost way up and down. We have done invitations and other products from $5 dollars per piece up.

    Hello,

That was great, you can also try beach stationery, it will help you in creating unique wedding stationery items, i usually mix and match two themes, though it is quite time taking but the results are really awesome.

  10. Re: Wedding Invitations in a Box

Even with the higher expense of a box, It looks like you can get all of the stationary products in one area. I don't know if that brings the cost down or not. The presentation is wonderful.
