So I am on a vintage ‘high’ these days - literally.* I love everything to do with vintage styling and concepting.* I just can’t get enough of it.* Lucky for me one of my clients this year is doing a vintage style wedding - love, love.* As a starter her dress is a full lace gown with*a black velvet sash and rosette embellishment.* She is collecting vintage*pitchers, platters and bowls for her floral centerpieces, designed by Babylon Floral.* Her place cards will be displayed on an old door with antique nails.* Her color palette is shades of pink, blue, pale ivory and black.*
With the invitation we set out to create a vintage look while incorporating a classic monogram.* The monogram border mimics an old fashioned table top mirror tray.* Each invitation card is printed on a*pearlescent blue stock, backed with a black stock layer,*wrapped with a lace band, a pink satin ribbon and topped with a hand made black velvet rosette embellishment with pearl center.* We will show you how to make the rosette in a different post.*
