I have seen a fair amount of "Authentic Leadership" coaches lately. Have you?
Coming from my bias that "authentic" is a significant part of a personal brand, I would argue great leaders are authentic? So are great coaches. Authentic is worthy of trust. So are these coaches training and holding leaders accountable for being trustworthy?
As any other commodity (leadership coaching in this case), one must succeed in delivering a unique value proposition to leaders who are looking to improve. As I see "authentic" becoming the buzz word, consider what the word means to you and your client and make sure it is...ahhheem, authentic.
