Default Coach Hawkins - CU Buffs

"Transform yourself into a vehicle of excellence."
"Quit trying to win and just be a winner."
"Stay off of the mountain and out of the valley."
From "Blogging with Hawk," the Web log of Colorado football coach Dan Hawkins.

Coach Hawkins "Hawk" is taking advantage of blogging to communicate with Colorado University Football fans, but the leadership and education that comes out of his postings translate very well to your life.

I particularly like "Quit trying to win and just be a winner" because eliminate try is a good practice.

Just like "Remember the Titans" "Rudy"
and "We are Marshal" take place in a football setting, they are not about football, the same is true with Hawks blog so check it out often.

By the way, the online personal brand WILL impact recruiting. This clip paints a picture of his personality too!

David,

Thank you for sharing this tremendous asset with the forum. After reading Coach Hawkins blog entries I was amazed at what he has to offer not only his players, but the entire community. As a local high school coach, I get excited when I see other coaches, at any level, teaching players not only the skills needed to succeed on the field but also the skills needed to succeed in life. Each of those players on the team is lucky to have a great teacher, motivator, and leader in his life.

I would suggest anyone who has an interest in sports and/or personal development for that matter, to take the time to read his blog.
