It is always such a pleasure to be able to see you and Mark in action for the show. It was great to be on with you and share my thoughts and vision for 2010. Thanks for this wonderful website, too! It's amazing how people connect... as evidenced by Carlos's signature Here's to a fantastic 2010!

Thanks for the access to the Personal Board of Advisors. I have already started to evaluate my personal brand and where I am in relation to achieving my goals, whatever they may be. In the meantime, the brand Casey Duggan is in the "foundation" phase of construction while I construct a roadmap of what I want the brand to represent. Thanks again, and you will see my "brand" contributing to the message boards in the near future.

    David,

I wanted to thank you for speaking at the AMA function at DU this past Tuesday. Rex and yourself provided great information regarding branding personal careers. There was one thing you said that stuck with me. When you referenced the format of yourbrandplan.com, you had mentioned that this is the format to get familiar with because it is quickly growing and will probably be the format of the future. All of the user interaction involved with this format reminded me of a TED video by Charles Leadbetter discussing innovation where the users become producers and consumers become designers. If you haven't seen it already, it is pretty intriguing. Anyways, Thanks again and I will be sure to keep the RSS feed a daily ritual.

It is actually an app I created for me that I decided to submit to Apple to see if it might be helpful to others too...it is called iFlex and is an app created for use with the Bowflex...showing all exercises it offers...working with my brother in law (who is a trainer) to get some weekly workouts made specifically for the Bowflex...pretty cool stuff...but I will give you a call late week to talk more!

Hi David, just got your message...big things happening in my life - got my first iPhone app accepted to the app store and have found some great people I am working with! Regarding the message...I am interested and depending on the hours necessary it may be something I could get involved in!

David, thanks for the signature tip, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the invite David, catch up with you soon.

Thanks for your interest David. Because my success has been in media sales and also in working with SMB's - something related is best. My ideal job would leverage my years of traditional media experience yet allow me to consult and advise companies and businesses in using online advertising and media to promote and advertise their message and brand. My challenge there is that I don't have a ton on the experience side in online - but I bring the passion for it along with a high aptitude for new technology and new media. Please let me know if this provides a clear enough picture for you along with LinkedIn profile.

    Tim

tompeters! Brand

by David Sandusky on 03-08-2010 at 05:01 PM
Some professionals create an unmistakable personal brand by simply doing something well for a long time. You could say that is why Tom Peters is so successful but that would not be doing him justice. In the commodity of management gurus and leadership definers, Tom Peters is the one setting his tone for the rest to follow. His energy and passion are consistent across wide subject matter all organized around YOUR thinking of leading values across organization and self.

Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno Unmistakable Personal Brands

by David Sandusky on 01-12-2010 at 09:17 AM
Jay Leno is the center of NBC late night television drama, again. I am actually fascinated by what happens this time around because I think NBC is making mistakes left and right as it relates to the personal brand of both Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. The Jay Leno show and the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien are less relevant in context of this blog about unmistakable personal brands. In other words it does not matter what the writers and producers of the shows do, the popularity and future of

One of the best examples of a brand champion is the fan who loves his team no matter what and proves it rain or shine. The Barrel Man is a super fan at every home game at Mile High Stadium (INVESCO Field at Mile High

Rush Limbaugh Brand Too Successful for NFL Brand?

by David Sandusky on 10-15-2009 at 11:33 AM

Could the fact that Rush Limbaugh enjoys an unmistakable personal brand be the reason he is cut out of his desire to be a NFL franchise owner? How does the most listened to radio talk show in America, broadcasting on over 600 radio stations nationwide play?

You know what you get from Limbaugh from commentary on his show whether you love or hate him. Would other team owners worry about the power
