More people are reaching out to me and probably you to announce a job search. As are employers reaching out to announce job openings. The new media for promoting jobs and availability is working for many. Using Twitter and Facebook to Find a Job seem to be the most publicized lately. Used to be LinkedIn's space, but what twitter and facebook have that LinkedIn does not is true interaction. Just like offline networking...that is the name of the game.
