LinkedIn vs Facebook
Phil Rosenberg, President, reCareered posted a good comparison for the strengths and weaknesses of LinkedIn and Facebook - these questions come up so see his post on College Recruiter - as usual, applies up and down the ladder of experience...
My personal take is I like both, but tend to spend more time with LinkedIn probably because much longer invested time and contacts there. LinkedIn offers daily opportunities to connect people, but both are equally contributing to my companies sales.

Yes. Some have a lot of success and others have very little with LinkedIn. I think there is a direct relationship to what you put into it. Time as far as a great profile representing your online brand as well as some activity using the tool and certainly helping others.
Do you want LinkedIn to be of value to you? If yes, I will check out your profile...will I easily find you by your company name?

For professional network linkedin is good still I could not find it worked for me.

I've never been on Linked In...I'll have to check it out. I try to use social networks as much as possible.
