    "REAL Relationships" - Seth Godin

"Fake networking" says Seth Godin. I love it! Every word in the clip Social networking – good for small business? is right on. "Website hits that don't translates" and other great points by Seth in this clip.

You know I agree with my friend (facebook and tribes friend) Seth Godin if you have read my post on "So What", seen me speak on the subject or have seen this clip ("So What" - End in Mind) where I wish I used the word 'relationship' somewhere. Well, you got my point.

More important, what do you think?

Then what the hell are we supposed to do? Not too many people have the money or the resources to REACH new users, new fans, new audiences. Yes, I agree that the internet is kinda like a giant ****tail party, but to me, for as long as I've known this industry, its a huge networking forum.

Honestly, I don't believe in his vision with regards to networking. Social Networking gets you "visibility" on the internet, it pushes your presence to worldwide awareness. Look how many businesses are falling because of the negativity, look at how game sales are falling because of internet wildfires, look at how Tila is famous today because of her revolutionary approach to rising in the ladder to fame.

Anyone who's had an online relationship will have heard these questions and others a little more blunt. People who haven't explored online connections tend to belittle them and regard them as pale imitations of 'real' relationships.
