This proves to be a good strategy if posting on relevant blogs and forums. Consistency will get you noticed in certain online circles. Targeting your content is important to improve your return on time investment.
Oh, and be sure to build a signature in a place like this and profile on MyBlogLog, the article submission sites, etc. Or your readers will not be pulled to you.

There are only 2 reasons to submit articles:
1) drive direct traffic
2) benefit from link juice
Therefore option 1 should be done on high traffic sites and option 2 should be done on high PR or otherwise related niche types of sites.
Calculating PR, Alexa rank, basic traffic statistics and SEO information to determine such website worth is quite easy with online tools as viewable in that link.

Thanks for informative post.I shall like to use these PR marketing sites in future to promote/market my firm. Fastpitch and prweb are both good sites. Ofcourse,submitting articles on those site is good PR strategy if you are committed. Free Article submission is better than using other paid sites or hiring other persons for promotion.
