Thumbs up What is your Mission and Vision?

What are you looking to accomplish? Share your big personal visions that inspire and the mission statement that tell the community your purpose. Post your personal and/or business vision and mission statements. Perhaps you will find like minded people/companies/clients and help within the community to reach your goals! Don't be shy.

You are writing mission and vision statements, yes, but be sure to understand I don't care if you say it the same every time or not. What is important is you are on a mission. You have a vision of success (your most important asset) and the statements are from the heart...not memory.

    Puzzle without a picture

I saw Michael Gerber, author of e-Myth Revisited, speak for the third time in Denver in about two months. Each time he talked about why so many small businesses fail . One of his favorite analogies is to imagine building a large jigsaw puzzle without a picture on the box. How many puzzles are sold without a picture?

Gerber is talking about having the end goal in mind - a vision. How you get there (mission), is a journey full of unknowns and fear. That is okay! It is okay because your plan will change as you learn, but you have to make a move and not hold back because you have not done it before.

All significant creations and change has been developed by someone who does not know what they are doing. You see mistakes and determination to pick themselves up and learn what to do different moving forward.

Is not having a vision of your success a missing in your picture? Post your personal vision here.

Camp Fire USA - Central Rockies Council

Camp Fire USA Central Rockies Council’s mission is “to better the lives of children and families through providing opportunities and experiences that build compassion, competences and skills.”

With our after-school programs and other leadership opportunities for Denver's youth, I can see more kids with respect for self, others and community resulting in graduation more future leaders making healthy choices.

My mission is to support this great cause by helping build and retain a passionate and active board who creates awareness of our deep national history of success applied to our own community in Denver!

    Re: What is your Vision?

I want to share another...yes, you can have multiple. Just stay focused.

I see myself at 60 years old speaking to a few hundred people about well integrated life - mine and stories of those I've touched.

Vision: attendees say: wow! David is 60??? He looks great with such energy and passion for family, community and their business. I'm inspired by David and his knowledge.

Mission to accomplish this vision: Movement - Learn new every day, exercise, eat well and create memories every day with my wife, family and those I work with.
