Job Corps
Hey, was just wondering if anyone has any experiences with Job Corps that they could share. Some of the things I'm curious about are is, what a normal day is like, when is curfew, are you allowed to go out when you want, and is their internet in the rooms, what is the medical and dental insurance cover, what is monthly allowance average? I heard they give you a drug test on your 45th day, and if you don't pass you will be removed. Which would mean they don't test you on arrival? Also, how was your experience did you enjoy it, did it help you? Did they really help you find a job, find a place to live for you, and help find you transportation when you completed Job Corps.
Now I know I could just ask a counselor from Job corps, but I would like to get an unbiased opinion/answers from someone not involved with them but who is actually gone through the program or know someone who has.
Another question, out of these careers which have the most demand for people and best salary/benefits:
Computer Service, Web design, Network Cable Installation, Accounting, Legal office support, Office assistance, Landscaping, Urban forestry, Heavy equipment operation.
