Default Job Cuts Equal Opportunity

More real job cut numbers have been announced over the past few days from some large employers. Scary times for many no doubt. But those with an active plan to take control and market themselves will land sooner than those who don't work hard at the transition into another great opportunity.

Financial Services cuts continue
Citigroup posts $5.11 bln loss, to cut 9,000 jobs

Merrill Lynch posts loss of nearly $2 billion
Investment bank to slash 4,000 jobs in bid to save $800 million

Airline woes with Frontier Airlines and other smaller carriers filling bankruptcy this month and United announcing plans to cut 1,100 jobs.
