Thread: submit and find articles

  1. submit and find articles

Many people and companies are finding that posting articles on the web is a great way to be found while adding value in your particular area of expertise. Websites and newletter authors are locating articles to add value to their site. Can they find you? Someone posting your article to a popular site could be good for you. You get referenced when submitting to the sites below.

Be careful, make sure you are adding value and know your facts - you could hurt your reputation faster than help it. That said, if you want to post articles online and/or read articles in areas of interest, check out the sites listed below. Your submissions will be reviewed and may take days or weeks to be accepted and posted - at least the ones I have used. Do you use one that is not listed here? Please post reply to add so others can use.

As far as submitting websites, It could backfire so be diligent. Organic (like submitting articles and great content on your site) is the way to go as pointed out in the thread about PPC ads (Pay per click ads effectiveness?)

While ppc is a great way to start, the organic listings is what you should strive for. If you read Matt Cutt's from Google's blog, Content is the way to Organic rankings.

Many SEO's do not have content providers so they steer you in other directions.

In order to rank higher in the Organic listings you need to make your site an authority on what you do by supplying the searchers with semantically relevant content. You need to become a mini-library or expert on what you are selling or providing.

ContentLogic.com is one of a few content providers with the expertise needed to write content especially for the search engines.

I use an article distro service

There are a few article distribution services out there - the one I've used is
    http://thephantomwriters.com.

It costs $35 for one article, or $200 for 10, and considering the amount of time it takes to go into each site and submit, the $35 is money well spent.

Also, when you pay for a distribution you get a huge document with best practices to help optimize the chances of getting published. This includes everything from length of title to optimal length in words of article... tons of good info.

Nope, I'm not even getting paid to endorse the comapny
