What are the best ways to build a personal brand quickly?
What are the best ways to build a personal brand quickly?
First, your personal brand already exists in that you have a reputation, promise of value and image. If one needs training (we all do) and a strategy to build the brand and communicate that brand effectively, the process becomes part of your activity and competencies.
If one needs to re-brand, i.e changing careers, industries, or fixing a history of mistakes, the same is true.
As to your question "What are the best ways to build a personal brand quickly?", look to the above comments and get started in defining who you are to others, find out who cares (target) and how to reach them. Sometimes that is hard and takes time. What are your quick fixes goals? Job search? Need clients? Interviewing for a promotion? Either way, I encourage you to take this opportunity to build a sustainable brand strategy! Not many quick fix items, but while posting here and elsewhere, why not create a signature so people know a little about you?

You know you have your brand down solid when prospects come to you from referrals from your previous clients, and what they say when they come to you is exactly the service you provide, and how you can help them.
You know your brand is down solid when your clients tell others that you are worth the $$$. That happens when you come from a place of power and confidence in delivering what your brand is. You are your brand and you know without a shadow of a doubt, you can deliver it with the quality, AND customer experience you command of yourself.
I see it as your brand is not just what you do, but it is a representation of what kind of customer experience you deliver to your clients. After all, in the end, everyone really buys the experience they have with the product or service, and not the product or service (or lowest price would always win).
