I often feel blessed to work with the relatively young client base on their personal brand and career strategies as they move into new things...like starting a business at 60 years old plus. The common theme with them all is energy and passion. Age is not an excuse for these folks.

Then I read an excellent post by the Toilet Paper Entrepreneur about 5 Entrepreneurs Who Started (Really) Late and Finished Great. What an inspiration! Life is good! The post automatically brought me back just a few years to a breakfast meeting I had with Meg Hansen in her Boulder, CO home. Meg was 84 then and we were meeting about her water purification startup as well as discussion about joining an advisory board I was on. I knew Meg was going to be strong for a while when she took me to her window, pointed me to a part of her yard where she was going to start a garden in the summer. As she outlined her vision for the garden and her newest business, I knew what it is all about:

Have something worthwhile to look forward to. Anticipate great things and you can do what every you want at any age!

This is a good time to re-read the thread "wisdom of a 100 years experience".
