If you're ready to fast forward connections that you make, or widen the amount of people you are connected with, then Twitter is a great tool to do that!
Yet, like anything, you have to first be interesting to get noticed. And, if you cannot be interesting in 140 characters or less....then you fail. One way that people using Twitter, differentiate themselves is their Twitter Bio. This little 140 character bio can speak volumes about who you are and what you deliver.
More people will connect with you if you have a real photo of yourself (or even a portion of you - your ear, eye, hand) in the bio. Then, say something of uniqueness in those 140 characters.
Do you know how lame a bio sounds if it says "to make a difference in the world"? Or "working to make the world a better place"? All you do is sound like Miss America contender with the same ol' answer of "I want....world peace". I immediately think of Sandra Bullock when she was in the movie "Miss Congeniality" giving that blank, air-head type stare saying "world peace". IS that really the picture you want people to see in their mind?
Stop the lameness and go for the unique! There are more creative thinkers than lame ones on Twitter and here's a sample of some of their bios...
