    A survey from global consulting firm Watson Wyatt finds 34 percent of all workers have increased their planned retirement age in the past 12 months. Changes are more pronounced for older workers: Forty-four (44) percent of those aged 50 and over plan to delay their retirement, compared with only 25 percent of those under 40.

    Time will come when we need to rest from work, not for a vacation, but to live the rest of the years enjoying the savings from previous years of hard work. This is when the idea of retirement plans matter. Many plans did not work. Why?
