Linda E. McKinzie, MSW, LCSW has served as Executive Director of MDS Counseling Center since 1997. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 23 years experience in organization management. She developed her organizational management skills through management positions held at McKinzie Enterprises, a family owned business operating several retail supermarkets in Overland Park Kansas. Linda recognized quickly that the skills of running a small business were quite transferable to directing a non-profit agency.

MDS Counseling Center has been formed out of the understanding that people need access to counseling regardless of their ability to pay. They are committed to serving others with enthusiasm, empathy and humility as they assist in creating a place of peace, love and harmony within others, ourselves and our community.

We will also check in with Eric Canaday, our current player of the CORE Career Game as part of the online Personal Board of Advisors (Advisors and Subscriptions)!

I frequently say that I want to help people "live life like Michael Jordan played basketball". At the end of today's show David asked me to explain that ambition.

What I mean is that God has endowed each of us with specific talents, gifts, and abilities. Sadly, millions of people live and die without ever living up to their potential. While everyone cannot play ball like MJ, we can emulate him by identifying what makes US amazing, and then share that with the world.

This choice takes hard work, perseverance, and courage, but it is one of the keys to true fulfillment in life.

I am a big fan of yours Eric and glad you are doing what you are doing. I agree with a twist. I think everyone is an entrepreneur and a leader (Everybody is a Leader and Entrepreneur)when identifying what it is they must do.
