Thread: Young Entrepreneur and Robert Schwab on Your Brand Radio

  1. Young Entrepreneur and Robert Schwab on Your Brand Radio

YOUR BRAND RADIO with Mark Crowley and David Sandusky welcome college student, entrepreneur and intern for the Center for Innovation, Chris Morrel and Robert Schwab who is editor of ColoradoBiz and small business columnist formerly with The Denver Post and others. Robert is also a poet and consultant helping you and me learn how to think like a journalist for our PR strategies.

We heard from others including our good friend and founder of Good Skin Matters, Pam Good. Pam shared some of her own personal story and motivated all of us with entrepreneurial wisdom.

We covered a lot, listen to the podcast above and post comments or ask questions in this forum.

We can't wait to see what innovation comes out of the Center for Innovation. Good Luck on a great mission!

Typical debate = Can you teach entrepreneurs? Can you teach how to be an entrepreneur?

A most common debate. I think everyone is an entrepreneur. That is right, born with it. Everyone is curious and innovative when it matters. I think even the least risk adverse person on the planet will become an entrepreneur when inspired to create something with real purpose.

Which leads to the next question.

I think this question comes up because some entrepreneurs have vision that is not understood so frustration exists in all involved. Visionaries can be taught to communicate and inspire as well as be able to recruit people. Sometimes letting the entrepreneur focus only on the unique ability (where they are continuously learning) is the smartest track. Aside of the "out there" visionaries, I find entrepreneurs to be a group most interested in learning.
